I started in the medical field over 30 years ago working as a nurse’s aide. I completed a medical assisting program and later went onto nursing school to earn a degree in vocational nursing. I have taught off and on in Sonoma County for 20 years. Teaching for Careers West College, Empire College, Boston Reed College and the Petaluma Adult School. I have taught front and back office medical assisting and medical billing. I wrote and implemented the program from Careers West College, Boston Reed and the Petaluma Adult School. I started my own billing service in 1995 and continue to do billing for several practices in Sonoma County. I am also currently a VAR (Value Added Reseller) for McKesson Corporation Medisoft and Tetridyn Solutions AeroMD EMR system. I do installation, tech support calls and training for these products.
